How to report copyright infringement on Vibely, what we do when you do, and how to get content restored if we got it wrong.

## 1. What we do about copyright

Vibely removes content that infringes copyright. We host projects, previews, and published apps built by our users, and we act on credible notices about them. This page is the process we follow. It is a voluntary process we operate, not a claim to any statutory status.

## 2. How to submit a takedown notice

Use the form at [the copyright takedown form](https://vibely.sh/abuse/dmca) — it carries the required statements, so you cannot accidentally send an incomplete notice. Email privacy@vibely.sh with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice" also works. Both reach the same queue and the same people.

Your notice must include all six of the following. We cannot act on a notice that is missing any of them, and we will write back asking for what is missing rather than guess.

- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Where the material is. For a web app, the exact URL. For a native mobile app, any of: the App Store or Google Play listing URL, the bundle identifier, the EAS build id, or the Expo Go manifest URL. For anything else, the project identifier. "Somewhere on your site" is not actionable.
- Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

## 3. What we do with it

We confirm receipt within one business day. We read email on Indian business days and do not staff nights or weekends, so a notice sent on a Friday evening is acknowledged on Monday. On a valid notice we remove or disable access to the content and tell the account holder who published it what we removed and why, so they can file a counter-notice. We act expeditiously, and aim to complete that within 3 to 5 business days of receiving a complete notice.

## 4. Counter-notice process

If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, use the form at [the copyright counter-notice form](https://vibely.sh/abuse/dmca-counter), or email privacy@vibely.sh with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice".

Your counter-notice must include:

- Identification of the content that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the United States federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Vibely may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the notice or their agent.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

## 5. Apps already published to the App Store or Google Play

Where the material is inside a native mobile app that has already been submitted to a store, what we can do is bounded. We can disable the project, remove the material from it, and revoke the account's ability to submit further builds. We cannot recall a binary that Apple or Google has already distributed — the app is published under the developer's own store account, not ours. To have a listing taken down you must also use Apple's and Google's own intellectual property complaint channels. Tell us if you have done so and we will not duplicate the request.

## 6. Reinstatement after counter-notice

We forward a valid counter-notice, including the contact details in it, to the person who sent the original complaint. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity, we may restore the content — in practice between 10 and 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice.

## 7. Repeat infringers

We disable and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. We treat an account as a repeat infringer when it receives two or more valid copyright notices within any 12-month period that are not withdrawn or overturned by a counter-notice.

## 8. False notices

Do not send a notice or a counter-notice you know to be false. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation to a service provider about infringement can expose you to liability for damages, costs, and legal fees, including under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) where that provision applies to your submission. We may also refuse further notices from a sender who abuses this process.

## 9. Generated code

Vibely generates code from your prompts using third-party AI models. Generated Output is your content as between you and us, and it is your responsibility to check that what you ship does not infringe someone else's rights. If you receive a notice about code Vibely generated for you, tell us — we will look at whether the same output is reaching other users.

## 10. Other kinds of complaint

Trademark complaints, illegal content reports, appeals against a takedown, and security reports each have their own route and their own required elements. They are all listed at [Report abuse and appeal a decision](https://vibely.sh/abuse). Vibely is operated by Mana Intelligence Private Limited, incorporated in India.
