Vibely vs RorkWeb and mobile on one backend

Build a full-stack web app and, on Pro and Business, one React Native + Expo app for iOS and Android, both on the same Supabase project.

The short answer

Rork is mobile-first: new projects are native Swift for iPhone or Kotlin for Android, built on its own machines and submitted to the App Store, and Rork Max adds iPad, Apple Watch and Vision Pro. Vibely builds cross-platform React Native + Expo apps on Pro and Business, in the same workspace as a full-stack web app, with both on your own Supabase project. Pick Rork for fully native iOS output and Apple-platform depth; pick Vibely when the web app and the mobile app should share one backend. Neither publishes a SOC 2 report.

Vibely

A web app and a cross-platform mobile app on one backend

Rork

Native iPhone and Android apps for the App Store, built by non-coders

Where Vibely differs from Rork

One codebase for iOS and Android

Rork builds a separate Swift app for iPhone or Kotlin app for Android. Vibely builds one React Native + Expo app that runs on both, on Pro and Business, and previews it on your own phone through Expo Go.

Web and mobile on one backend

Both build web apps too. In Vibely the web app and the mobile app sit in one workspace and share your own Supabase project, so one database and one sign-in setup serve both.

A backend in your own Supabase

Rork Cloud is a managed backend inside Rork, free while it is in beta, and you can also connect Supabase. In Vibely the database, row-level security and auth are generated in a Supabase project you own from the start.

Teams with roles and a shared pool

Rork lets you invite editors and viewers who spend the owner's credits. Vibely adds Owner, Admin, Editor and Viewer roles from Pro, and a shared credit pool, SSO, SCIM and audit logs on Business.

Switching to Vibely from Rork

Vibely does not import a codebase built on another platform. You rebuild the app in Vibely by describing what it does.

  1. Step 1

You rebuild the app in Vibely by describing what it does.

    Start building free
  2. Step 2

Connect Supabase to a project in a click and the agent takes it from there — tables, row-level security, and data access patterns generated from what your app actually needs. The Supabase integration is on Pro and Business.

  3. Step 3

From the first message the output is real React and TypeScript, and you can connect that Vibely project to a GitHub repository and keep the two in sync from there. GitHub sync works on every plan.

  4. Step 4

One-click publish to a live URL on every plan, with custom domains from Pro. On Pro and Business, Vibely builds React Native + Expo apps alongside the web app, from the same prompt and the same project.

Moving off Rork

Rork syncs paid projects to GitHub, so the Swift, Kotlin or React code is yours to open in Xcode or any editor.

Vibely does not import a project built on another platform, and a Swift or Kotlin app is a different stack from Vibely's React Native + Expo in any case. Moving means rebuilding the app here by describing what it does, not transferring it.

If the native iPhone app works, keep it. Vibely is a good fit for the web app that goes with it, on a Supabase project you own, or for a cross-platform version when one codebase for iOS and Android matters more than native Swift.

Frequently asked questions

Vibely builds a full-stack web app and, on Pro and Business, a React Native + Expo app that runs on both iOS and Android, in one workspace and on your own Supabase project. Rork builds separate native Swift and Kotlin apps and keeps its backend in Rork Cloud unless you connect your own.

When you want a fully native iPhone app in Swift, or Apple platforms beyond the phone: Rork Max covers iPad, Apple Watch and Vision Pro. Rork builds on its own machines and submits to the App Store for you, and it can import an existing project from GitHub, which Vibely cannot.

Not for new projects. Rork's docs, read on October 8, 2026, say new apps are native Swift, Kotlin or React web, and existing Expo projects keep working. Vibely builds its mobile apps with React Native and Expo, so one codebase covers iOS and Android.

Rork's free plan is design mode only; Pro is $20/month with 100 credits and Max starts at $200/month, with app runtime AI billed in separate Cloud credits. Vibely is free for web apps, with native mobile from Pro; current prices are on the pricing page.

Not directly. Vibely does not import projects from other platforms, and a Swift or Kotlin app is a different stack from Vibely's React Native. You rebuild by describing what the app does, then connect the project to a GitHub repository to keep the code in sync.
