Copyright takedown notice

Tell us about content we host that infringes your copyright. Your notice must contain all six elements listed beside this form — the six required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). We confirm receipt within one business day and aim to act on a complete notice within 3 to 5 business days.

Put the work, the location of the material, and your address and telephone number in the description box. The two statements are the checkboxes below it. The name you type is your electronic signature.

What a complete notice contains

All six. We cannot act on a notice that is missing one — we will write back asking for the missing element rather than guess at it, which costs you days.

The work you own
A description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed. If several works are covered by one notice, a representative list is enough.

The infringing material, and where it is
For a web app, the exact URL — a <slug>.vibelyagent.com address, a custom domain connected through Vibely, or a preview link. For a native mobile app, a store listing URL goes straight in the URL field. A bundle identifier (com.example.app), an EAS build id or an Expo Go manifest URL is not a web address, so put it on the first line of your description instead — the URL field only accepts http and https. For anything else, the project identifier. "Somewhere on your site" is not actionable.

Name, address, telephone number, and email address. We reply to the email address you give here.

A good-faith-belief statement
That you believe the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. The first checkbox on the form.

A statement under penalty of perjury
That the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf. The second checkbox.

A signature
Your physical or electronic signature. Typing your name in the name field is accepted as your electronic signature on this notice.

What we do with it

We confirm receipt within one business day. We read this queue on Indian business days and do not staff nights or weekends, so a notice sent on a Friday evening is acknowledged on Monday. On a complete notice we remove or disable access to the material expeditiously, and in practice aim to do that within 3 to 5 business days. We tell the account holder what we removed and why, so they can file a counter-notice.

This is a process we operate voluntarily. We have not registered a designated agent with the US Copyright Office and we do not claim safe-harbour status under § 512. We follow the process on this page either way.

Two or more valid notices against one account within any 12-month period, not withdrawn or overturned, is a repeat infringer and we terminate the account. Full policy at /dmca.

Apps already on the App Store or Google Play

Where the material is inside a native mobile app already submitted to a store, what we can do is bounded. We can disable the project, remove the material from it, and revoke the account’s ability to submit further builds. We cannot recall a binary Apple or Google has already distributed — the app is published under the developer’s own store account, not ours. To have a listing taken down you must also use Apple’s and Google’s own intellectual property complaint channels. Tell us if you have, and we will not duplicate the request.

Not what you need?

Your content was removed over a copyright notice and you believe that was a mistake: file a counter-notice.
A brand or logo rather than a work: the trademark route at /abuse.
Do not send a notice you know to be false. Knowingly misrepresenting infringement can expose you to damages, costs, and legal fees, including under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) where that provision applies to your submission.
